About the Classes and 1-2-1 Yoga

Classes My aim is to keep class numbers small; this enables me to supervise class members carefully.  Classes run continuously throughout the year and are suitable for all ages and abilities, as I run a mixed class.  The style is Hatha Yoga which is quite gentle, but effective.

As class numbers are limited, priority if necessary, will be given to members paying for a block of lessons. 

I am always happy for you to attend at another class but please phone me to check the availability of space.

Where and when are the classes?

Mondays 9.30am - 11.00am at Gurnard Village Hall, off Worsley Road, Gurnard

1-2-1 Yoga Although most people are happy to join a class, there are also some who might prefer 1-2-1 sessions.  A number of people begin Yoga like this.  For a beginner, it's a good way of seeing if Yoga is suitable; for the more advanced it can help to make corrections and extend them.  Either way, an individual session can bring about more rapid progress or resolve difficulties that may not always be possible in a class situation.

1-2-1 Yoga sessions are tailored to suit each person's needs and as such, a great deal can be achieved in a single session.  A programme can be designed to follow for a period of time, before subsequent sessions are undertaken.  Some people enjoy intensive work like this on a regular basis, whilst others gradually feel encouraged and confident to join a regular class.
